Cathy Beard

Cathy Jane Beard, age 63, of Liberal, MO, passed away Saturday March 24, at her home in Liberal. She was a homemaker and a pastor’s wife. Cathy was born October 14, 1954 in Pittsburg, KS , to Raynard Eugene and Mary Jane Griffitt Edwards. She was a graduate of Pittsburg High School and also Studied at Pittsburg State University. She married David Joseph Beard December 18, 1972 . She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband David, 2 daughters Starla Tomlinson of Stark City, and Christy Vance of Girard, KS; 2 sons David Beard Jr. and wife Nikki and Bradley Beard both of Arma , KS. Also surviving are 14 grand children and 2 great grand children; a sister, Nancy Charles and husband Kenny from Pittsburg, KS and a brother, Ray Edwards and wife Aline of Branson, MO. A memorial service will be held at the Liberal Lighthouse of Worship Wednesday at 5 P.M.
