Clarence Eugene Fyock

Clarence Eugene “Gene” Fyock, 62, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away at his home on Friday, November 22, 2024. Gene was born in Lamar, Missouri, to Rosemay (Murray) and Cecil Fyock.

Gene had a creative spirit and found joy in coloring, particularly on flocked coloring pages. He also loved watching classic comedies, with Abbott and Costello and The Three Stooges holding a special place in his heart. Gene shared his life with five beloved dogs who were his faithful companions.

Throughout his life, Gene worked in various roles, including positions at Thorco, Sheldon Seed, and O’Sullivan Industries. He was known for his hardworking nature and dedication to his family and friends.

Gene is survived by his siblings, Cecil Fyock Jr. of Lamar, MO, Mary Fyock of Golden City, MO, Robert “Bob” (Roberta) Fyock of El Dorado Springs, MO, Missy Arlint of West Plains, MO, Patty Milligan of Nevada, MO, Carrie Meyers of El Dorado Springs, MO, Billy (Emilie) Reese of Lamar, MO, and Evelyn Barlow of Lebanon, MO. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Fyock Sr. and Rosemary Rice, his grandmother Helen Byram, and his nephew Billy Ray Lee Reese.

A memorial service will be held at Konantz Warden Funeral Home on Saturday December 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
