Donna Diane Goodloe passed away on Tuesday August 4, 2026.
Donna was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Bernard and Wilma (Davis) Young. She grew up in the Shawnee Mission area and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School with the Class of 1969.
Following the end of her first marriage, Donna made her home in Overland Park, Kansas, where she lived for 18 years. During that time, she met the love of her life, Garry Goodloe. The couple moved to Ottawa, Kansas, in the early 1990s, where they were married. In 2001, they relocated to Milford, Missouri, and made it their home.
Donna worked for Canteen Vending Service for more than 20 years, where she was known as a dedicated and dependable employee.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Donna collected mouse figurines, faithfully watched her favorite "Chicago Trilogy" television shows—Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D.—and was happiest at home. Known affectionately as the neighborhood "mom," Donna's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, whom she loved above all else. She was a faithful member of Milford Christian Church.
Donna is survived by her son, Bernie McDowell and his wife, Judy, of Linn Valley, Kansas; her granddaughter, Shelby Schram and her husband, James, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and her grandson, Travis McDowell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Wilma Young; her beloved husband, Garry Goodloe; and her brother, Don Young.
