Elizabeth Janie Jaggars

Elizabeth “Janie” Jaggars, 74, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025. She married the love of her life, Tommy Jaggars, on May 22, 1975, in Pryor. Their life together was marked by family, and simple joys. Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy, and their two sons, Chris Jaggars and Andrew Jaggars. She is survived by her granddaughters Tesla and Julian and her daughters in law Amy and Jennifer.

A longtime resident of Truman Health and Rehabilitation, Janie was known for her gentle kind heart. She found joy in the quiet pleasures of life—getting lost in a good romance novel, solving word searches and puzzles, and spending time with friends over games of dominos and cards. She had a sweet demeanor and brought warmth and companionship to those around her.Janie will be dearly missed by those who knew her. A private inurnment will be held at Fort Scott National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
