James Roger Geisler

James “Jimmy” Roger Geisler, 79, of Lamar, MO passed away on May 14, 2024. He was born in Trenton, MO to Clarence and Anna Belle (Cook) Geisler and grew up around Blairstown, MO. Jimmy married Shirley Frickendschmit and became a stepfather to her children. The family lived in Lamar, MO where he was employed by Thorco until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, walking his dog, and helping his neighbors.

Jimmy is survived by his stepchildren Allen (Koleen) Frickendschmit, Mike (Patty) Frickendshmit, Penny Berry, and Debbie Hampton; and siblings Carl L. Geisler, Clara Belle Searles, Edith Harness, Shirley Bunney, and Linda Long.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley; siblings Woodrow Cook, Bertha Leighty and Ann Waring; and stepbrothers Barnard, Raymond, and Clarence Jr Geisler.
