Janice Kohley

Janice L. Kohley, 70, Liberal, MO, passed away August 10, 2013. She was born June 10, 1943, Liberal, MO, to Jake and Marian "Lucille" Thomas Myers. Janice was a lifelong resident of the Liberal area. Janice graduated from Liberal High School. She then furthered her education at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS, pursuing a teaching degree. After graduation, Janice taught school at Southeast Cherokee High School, Cherokee, KS, until her retirement. She was a member of the KNEA (Kansas National Education Association). Janice was a member of the Methodist Church. Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Kohley; and her parents. Survivors include a son, Tom Kohley of Liberal, MO; two granddaughters, Tessa Kohley, Liberal, MO, Kaitlyn Kohley, Columbia, MO; and a brother, Tom Myers, Hillsboro, NM.
