Scott Anthony Musgrove passed away on Tuesday April 20, 2021. He was born December 2, 1970 in Lamar, MO to Peter and Shelley (Strong) Musgrove. He grew up in Lamar, MO and graduated from Lamar High School in 1989. He graduated at 17 and moved to Tulsa, OK. He attended Missouri Southern State University, graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Scott worked in the Four State Area including O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar, MO, Able Body in Pittsburg, KS, Business Advantage in Lamar, MO and Finley Engineering Co, in MO, KS, and AR. At the time of his death, he was living in Springfield, MO and working as a machine operator at Timken Belts. He loved animals and had a special affinity and fondness for the elderly, that he developed while his mother was working at a nursing home. He was an adventurous big kid who enjoyed making people laugh. Scott is survived by his sister, Misty (Andy) Marti of Lamar, MO; nieces and nephews; Cooper, Drew, and Hannidy Marti of Lamar, MO and Zack Musgrove and Erika Steeby of Pittsburg, KS; and his partner Martina Austin and her daughter Lilly of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by his aunt, Sari (Rick) Hornbeck of Lamar, MO, and uncles, David (Christy) Strong of Lamar, MO, Mick (Pam) Strong of Ft. Smith, AR, and Doyle Dunagan of Lamar, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Erik Musgrove. The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the funeral expenses. The family will receive visitors on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 10 AM at Konantz Warden Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11 AM.
