Wanda Faye Allen

Wanda Allen passed away in her home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday October 17, 2021. Wanda was born on October 1, 1942 in Carthage, MO to Harvey and Emma (Ritchey) Cramer. She went to high school at Church of God Holiness School in Graviet, AR and then taught school for a few years. She married David Allen at her parents home south of Avilla on August 10, 1968. Wanda was a homemaker who enjoyed collecting strawberry knickknacks, embroidery, and loving her family. Wanda is survived by her husband; sisters, Ethel Larson of Carthage, MO, Betty Myers of Carthage, MO and Rozetta Taylor of Carthage, MO; sons, Paul (Michelle) Allen of Lamar, MO, Joseph (Audi) Allen of Lamar, MO, Philip (Angela) Allen of Avilla, MO, James Allen of Lamar, MO, and Timothey (Pam) Allen of Lamar, MO; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three nieces and nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at Oakton United Methodist Church on Sunday October 31, 2021 at 2:30 PM.
